Job Description:
- Assess and monitor supplier performance through key metrics and benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish performance expectations.
- Conduct detailed assessments of supplier manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in collaboration with suppliers.
- Evaluate and identify gaps in supplier processes that impact product quality or delivery.
- Develop strategies to address and close identified gaps.
- Investigate performance deficiencies through root cause analysis.
- Develop corrective action plans to address identified issues.
- Lead and manage corrective action implementation projects with suppliers.
- Ensure timely execution and monitor effectiveness.
- Oversee supplier production activities to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
- Implement robust tracking mechanisms for production progress.
- Generate comprehensive reports on supplier performance and improvement initiatives.
- Apply Lean principles to drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
- Utilize Green or Blackbelt certification to implement structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Facilitate Kaizen events to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supplier development, performance evaluation, and process improvement is an asset.
- Certification in Lean, Greenbelt, or Blackbelt is highly desirable.
- Experience in Production
- Strong project management skills and experience in corrective action implementation.
- Proficient in data analysis, with advanced skills in Excel and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
