Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our supplier network by focusing on supplier performance evaluation, manufacturing process assessment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves conducting thorough evaluations of supplier processes, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective actions. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Lean principles, certification in Green or Blackbelt, and expertise in facilitating Kaizen events. 
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Performance Evaluation:
  • Assess and monitor supplier performance through key metrics and benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish performance expectations.
Supplier Manufacturing Process Evaluation:
  • Conduct detailed assessments of supplier manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in collaboration with suppliers.
Supplier Process Gap Assessment:
  • Evaluate and identify gaps in supplier processes that impact product quality or delivery.
  • Develop strategies to address and close identified gaps.
Performance Deficiency Root Cause Identification:
  • Investigate performance deficiencies through root cause analysis.
  • Develop corrective action plans to address identified issues.
Corrective Action Implementation Project Management:
  • Lead and manage corrective action implementation projects with suppliers.
  • Ensure timely execution and monitor effectiveness.
Production Oversight, Tracking, and Reporting:
  • Oversee supplier production activities to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
  • Implement robust tracking mechanisms for production progress.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on supplier performance and improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of Lean, Green or Blackbelt, Kaizen:
  • Apply Lean principles to drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
  • Utilize Green or Blackbelt certification to implement structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supplier development, performance evaluation, and process improvement is an asset.
  • Certification in Lean, Greenbelt, or Blackbelt is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Production 
  • Strong project management skills and experience in corrective action implementation.
  • Proficient in data analysis, with advanced skills in Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
